Team membership is £50 per year. These fees are used to develop the club and support team racing and social events throughout the year. The only other fees you can expect to pay will be to cover venue hire / entrance fees (e.g. running track, spin classes) and specialist coaching providers' fees. What is the cost of coaching sessions with Renegades?
Most of our coaching sessions (bike, run and brick sessions) are included in your membership fees. Where a coaching session incurs costs such as entrance to track then that is additional. We work with our Swim partners, SwimLab, to provide winter pool coaching and summer Open Water sessions where we benefit a club discount.
What coaching sessions are available?
We run a number of sessions each week. These include regular run (track and distance) sessions, group bike rides and brick sessions. Renegade Triathlon also operate in association with SwimLab UK who offer a winter pool based swim club, one to one and open water coaching. These sessions incur a fee which are paid directly to SwimLab UK however we enjoy a club discount.
How do I access club discounts?
Once you have joined and have signed up for a login on the club website you will enjoy discounts from our partners which include kit, nutrition and race entries.
Do you have qualified coaches?
We have a number of British Triathlon level 1 and 2 coaches. We reinvest in the club to develop our existing coaches and encourage those interested in becoming a coach to approach the club. Our coaches manage various different sessions always ensuring safety and security as well as development of skills and athletic abilities. We also provide 1:1 guidance and support for personalisation of training plans.
What is a TriMark Club?
Renegade Triathlon are pleased to announce that we were recently acknowledged as a TriMark Bronze Club. Triathlon England has worked with Sport England, under Club Matters, to develop a new accreditation scheme for community triathlon clubs within England called TriMark Club accreditation. The scheme is for all community clubs, junior and senior, that have an established committee, a recognised constitution and has a membership offer open to everyone no matter what their background. WE work toward Silver accreditation in 2020.
Is the club a business?
No. Renegade Triathlon reinvest membership fees accrued back in to the club. These funds are used to buy equipment, secure necessary membership fees so the club can continue year after year, and to develop new and existing coaches. We hold an annual AGM which we encourage our members to attend.
